Below are pictures of Greg circa 2004-2006 and with various Professional Strongmen, one of who sadly is no longer with us (Jack Walsh, pictured in the green t-shirt). To view the pictures, just click on each thumbnail or simply watch the slideshows below the thumbnails. The first Strongman that Greg met was Slim The Hammerman in February, 1980 at an arm wrestling contest in Moorestown, New Jersey. The second Strongman that Greg met was Stanless Steel in the Summer of 1995. However, at the time, he was not performing. They have been very good friends ever since. Also below is a picture of Greg, Jack Walsh and Stanless Steel, circa 1996. At this time, Greg was gearing towards powerlifting and weighed 265 lbs. Greg met Dennis Rogers at the Association of Oldetime Barbell & Strongmen Dinner (AOBS) in 1996. For the next six (6) years, Greg was absent from any weightlifting or Strongman functions due to the car accidents that destroyed his shoulders and low back. It wasn't until 2001 at the AOBS Dinner that Greg renewed his friendship with Dennis. Greg also renewed his friendship with The Mighty Stefan (Steve Sadicario), the Emcee of the Dinner. Greg reacquainted himself with Slim the Hammerman, having initially met Slim at numerous arm wrestling matches in the early 1980s. In 2003, Greg and his best friend and fellow Strongman, Sonny Barry, went to the Dinner and met the Great Joe Rollino. As a young man, Joe was the assistant to the World's Strongest Man, Warren Lincoln Travis. A very kind man, Joe gave to Greg a quarter that he had bent in his teeth. Joe was 99 years old at the time. Joe said he had bent quarters up until he was 80 years old. Also below is a picture of Dennis and Greg in February, 2002. Dennis was scheduled to perform in the Philadelphia area and arrived to find out that they had made a mistake about the date, and he had an extra day of free time before he was due to perform. Luckily for Greg, they spent the day together, talking feats of strength. This was before Dennis prayed for Greg, and the Lord renewed his strength.
