Below are pictures of some of the people and friends whom Greg has taught to perform various feats of strength.  To view the pictures, just click on each thumbnail or simply watch the slideshow below the thumbnails. The first is Sonny Barry, Greg's best friend. Greg met Sonny in 1983 and instantly became good friends.  Their interests run together, including hot rod and classic muscle cars, self-defense, working out and feats of strength. Sonny was also Best Man at Greg's wedding on November 16, 2002.  The first picture of Sonny is at the car show, Lead East, in North Jersey.  Each year, Sonny performs a Strongman Show there.  The next group of pictures are of Sonny bending a #2 St. Croix Ultra Light Horseshoe, starting it in front of his chest and finishing it off by putting it into a heart shape.  Sonny is 63 years old and tremendously strong.  The next is a picture of a student of Greg's, a young man named Billy Sproat.  Billy is approximately 17 years old in this picture.  Greg has known Billy for approximately 11 years.  It was just in the past 3 to 4 years that Billy decided to change his life by eating cleaner, exercising his body and mind, learning how to perform feats of strength and giving his life to the LORD.  The bar Billy is holding in his hands is a half-inch piece of rebar, 24" long.  Billy can also bend 60-penny nails and horseshoes.  The next set of pictures are of Ernie Steudler.  Ernie is a strongman who has been training for approximately 1-1/2 years; Greg started him out.  Ernie is now a true strongman bending Grade 5 Bolts, horseshoes and various steel bars, his thickest being 5/8" square, 40" long.  Ernie also tears cards, mini-decks being his specialty. The final picture is of The Amazing Chris Rider, another strongman friend of Greg's.  Chris is simply unbelievable in strength feats.  For more information on Chris, check out his website, www.strongmanchrisrider.com.  In this picture, Greg is holding a 1/2" square bar that he bent for Chris.  Although there have been other people that Greg has trained, not only in feats of strength but also in bodybuilding and powerlifting, there are no pictures available of those individuals.  Greg owned Atlas Strength and Health Gym for approximately 8 years and has personally trained well over a thousand members.  Greg has been personally training people in weightlifting, bodybuilding and powerlifting since 1982, long before any certifications were available.  Amazingly, there was very little interest in feats of strength during this time frame.
